Cultúr Cobblestone

preserving the future of Irish Music, Dance, Language & Culture

Mission Statement.

Leave Irish music, dance, and language in a better place than when we found it through community building and education.

At Cultúr Cobblestone, we are dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural traditions of Ireland: music, storytelling, dance, and language. Our mission is to safeguard the places where these vibrant traditions thrive, ensuring they remain a living, accessible legacy for future generations. We strive to empower our community through education, cultural engagement, and the revitalization of our cherished heritage.

Vision Statement.

We envision a future where the soul of Ireland—its traditional music, language, dance, and cultural heritage—thrives vibrantly in communities across Ireland.

Our goal is to fight against the erosion of spaces and support for our authentic Irish traditions.  We believe in a world where the living traditions of Ireland are interwoven into everyday life where they are celebrated and nurtured through education, collaboration, and accessibility.

Our Goals.

Guarantee a home for Irish musicians, dancers, Gaeilgeoirs and other practitioners of Irish arts and heritage.

To inspire and educate generations to come to play, dance, speak, and appreciate these arts.

How will we do this?

  • Community Space for gathering, playing, practicing, and learning

  • Scholarship support for young musicians, dancers, and practitioners of the Irish arts

  • Preserve and revitalize the Irish language, Irish music, dance, and other cultural arts and heritage through innovative programs and community engagement.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive educational initiatives to promote Irish music, music history, language, dance, and broader-reaching cultural aspects, ensuring their continued relevance in contemporary life.

  • Expand and enhance accessible spaces throughout Dublin where residents and visitors can actively participate in, learn about, and experience authentic Irish music, dance, language, and culture.

  • Offer financially viable access to music recording.

  • Create affordable and inclusive opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds to engage with and contribute to Irish culture, fostering a diverse, vibrant, and growing community.
